How am I Billed?
Generating player insight reports is based on a "pay as you use" model, billed monthly in arrears on your account. This provides the flexibility as to when you or your team wish to run the reports.
You are only charged based on the number of reviews requested to be analysed drung the report setup stages.

How to Setup a Player Insight Report
Step 1: Create Your Report
1. Navigate to your project dashboard
2. Click "Create " for a project
3. Select "Player Insight Report" from the test type options
NOTE: You'll see example reports you can view to see what you get
Step 2: Select Your Game
1. Search for the game you want to analyze using the Steam game search
2. Select your game from the search results
3. The system will display the game details including:
- Game name with link to Steam store page
- Developer/Publisher information
- Release date
- Current review statistics (score, total reviews, positive/negative breakdown)
Step 3: Configure Your Report
Review Timeframe
Choose the period for review analysis:
- 7 Days: Latest feedback and recent updates
- 30 Days: Current player sentiment
- 3 Months: Seasonal trends and recent changes
- 6 Months: Medium-term player satisfaction
- 1 Year: Comprehensive long-term analysis
Review Type
Select how reviews are prioritized:
- Most Helpful: Community-voted helpful reviews (recommended for detailed insights)
- Most Recent: Latest reviews regardless of helpfulness rating
Maximum Playtime
Control the game experience level of reviewers:
- No Maximum: All players regardless of playtime
- Up to 1-2 hours: First impression feedback
- Up to 10 hours: Early game experience
- Up to 100 hours: Experienced player perspective
Number of Reviews
Choose how many reviews to analyze (based on available game reviews)
- 100-499 reviews: Focused Analysis - Ideal for smaller games or specific feedback
- 500-999 reviews: Comprehensive Analysis - Perfect for broader insights
- 1000+ reviews: In-Depth Analysis - Best for large-scale market research
Step 4: Name Your Report
Give your report a descriptive title (maximum 50 characters). The system will suggest a name based on the game, but you can customize it to reflect your specific research focus.
Step 5: Generate Your Report
Once all criteria are set, click "Generate Report" to begin the analysis.
Note: you will be billed monthly in arrears based on the final number of reviews analyzed. We may analyze fewer reviews than requested as we filter for quality.
